This year celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing. As Mitch is a closet space nut, we celebrated in lots of ways: cool events around our region (including a screening of Earthrise and associated panel of speakers that Mitch put together at the Carolina Theatre), building Lego models of the Saturn V and Lunar Lander, and a quick visit to DC with friends Miki and Wes for a jaw-dropping presentation on the Mall put on by the National Air and Space Museum.
